International Blues Challenge (IBC)

UPDATE OF BSCP IBC EVENT FOR 2013

On Tuesday, March 12, 2013, by a quorum, majority vote the BSCP Board of Directors have decided to take a hiatus from this year’s BSCP IBC Event. This decision was made due to availability and scheduling conflicts with our new BSCP Jam home venue for this event and our plans for the intended IBC funding to be used on other projects.

Hopefully in the future the BSCP will once again be hosting an IBC Event and we encourage our talented friends that have expressed interest in our IBC competition to contact other IBC participating blues societies to vie for their sponsorship. Our best wishes go with you!

As BSCP IBC Event Chair, I would like to thank all of the competing acts in our 2012 competition, my fellow IBC Committee members and the BSCP Board of Directors for making our 2012 event a day to remember.
